The Presidential Debate

Less a debate than an opportunity for each to speak directly to undecided voters it was not what I had hoped for but exactly what I expected. Frankly I’m sick of it all. The bottom line for me is that both Obama and McCain made mischaracterizations of the other’s statements and policies and neither did a good job of distinguishing himself or of laying out detailed plans. At the end of the debate i’m not sure anyone’s mind was changed at all.

To me it was politics as usual and as such very disheartening.
